Clients often come to me with ideas of specific elements or imagery they would like to see incorporated into their logo. In this case, she wanted to use an upward pointing arrow in some way to indicate the positive reinforcement model she uses for dog training. Arrows can sometimes be an over-used symbol, but in this case, when combined with the dog silhouette— and canted at an unusual angle— the arrow creates a unique mark that integrates with the type.
